Using the File Manager and backups

The File Manager shows your bot's folder on the server (up to 1 GB).

What you can do

• Open and edit text files, then save. Restart the bot to apply code changes.
• Upload files. For images or many files, upload a .zip and press Unzip.
• Create folders, rename, delete and search inside files.
• Zip a folder and download it.

The logs folder and the runner scripts (run_bot.sh) are managed by the server. Do not delete them.

Backups

A backup is a .zip of your bot's files, stored on the server.

1. Create a backup before big changes.
2. Download it to keep a copy on your own device.
3. Restore replaces the current files with the backup.

When your runtime runs out, bots are deleted. Downloading a backup now and then means you never lose your work.
