Deploy your own Python bot (template, GitHub or files)
Last updated: 8 November 2026
BotifyHost runs Python 3.12 bots. Your code runs in its own isolated container.
Which file is started
The server looks for these files in the bot folder, in this order, and runs the first one it finds:
bot.pymain.pyapp.py
If none exists, the logs show "Main entry file (bot.py or main.py) not found". If the script crashes or exits, it is started again automatically.
Reading your token in code
Do not paste the token into your code. It is provided as the environment variable
BOT_TOKEN:
import os
import telebot
bot = telebot.TeleBot(os.environ["BOT_TOKEN"])
@bot.message_handler(commands=["start"])
def start(message):
bot.reply_to(message, "Hello! I am running on BotifyHost.")
bot.infinity_polling()
This works the same with other libraries, such as aiogram or python-telegram-bot.

Three ways to get your code on the server
1. Starter template
Choose Template in Create Bot. You get a working bot.py that you can
edit in the Code Editor.
2. GitHub repository
Choose GitHub and paste the repository's https:// address.
The repository must be public. Put bot.py (or main.py) in the top folder.
3. Upload files
Create the bot from the template, then open the File Manager and upload your
files. For many files or images, put them in a .zip, upload it and use Unzip.
Restart the bot when you are done.
Packages
List your packages in requirements.txt. See
installing packages.
